Notice is given that an application for informal probate of the Decedent’s Will, dated September 28, 1999, and (“Will”), has been filed with the Registrar.  The application has been granted.

Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Sandra K. Oak, whose address is 834 Emerson Ave. N., Montrose, Minnesota, 55363, as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent.  Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative.  Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.

Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE SEC. 4-4 (c); POSSESSION ON AND IN PUBLIC PROPERTY; CONSUMPTION IN PUBLIC; EXCEPTIONS

ADOPTED ON JUNE 21, 2022

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BUFFALO, MINNESOTA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN

Ordinance Section 4-4(c); Possession On and In Public Property; Consumption In Public; Exceptions is amended to read:

Sec. 4-4. Possession on and in public property; consumption in public; exceptions.

(c) Exception for Buffalo Days and Events Sponsored by the City of Buffalo or Buffalo Chamber of Commerce. A liquor license may be issued to the Chamber of Commerce to sell liquor for the Buffalo Days Celebration, or other events sponsored by the City of Buffalo or Chamber of Commerce subject to the following:

(1) The licensee may be required to hire an off-duty police officer approved by the police department to provide security and crowd control on the licensed premises during the hours of sale.

(2) The licensee must provide proof of financial responsibility as set forth in section 4-50, and the city will be named as an insured during the license period.

This ordinance becomes effective from and after its passage and publication.

This Ordinance was approved by a majority of the City Council of Buffalo on the 21st day of June 2022.
