Opened six bids on March 25, 2021.  Soil correction will take place and same color scheme will be used. Will gain some footage in center area of courts and will use some portable seating. New Look Contracting submitted the lowest bid at $564,700. We have worked with them before and they have worked on many tennis court projects. Also recommending approval of Alternate No. 1 bid for $16,080 to be awarded to New Look Contracting.

Sansevere/Bjorklund moved to award the bid to New Look Contracting including Alternate #1

Discussion: $645,000 was the projected cost. Project will start May 27 but working with the High School to see if that could be moved earlier.

His goals are doing what’s best for kids and servant leadership.  Others commented he is an experienced leader who has worn many hats well. He is interested in growth and development for himself and colleagues, is respected by the community and able to explain school finance to the public.

Look forward to Ryan joining our district on July 1, 2021.

NOTICE OF INFORMAL PROBATE OF WILL AND APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

Notice is given that an application for informal probate of the Decedent’s will dated October 11, 1999, (“Will”), has been filed with the Registrar. The application has been granted.

Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Becky M. Steiger whose address is 8216 Nevens Avenue NW, Annandale, MN 55302 as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minn. Stat. 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.

Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.

Notice is also given that (subject to Minn. Stat. 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

A charitable beneficiary may request notice of the probate proceedings be given to the Attorney General pursuant to Minn. Stat. 501B.41, subd. 5.

THIS SUMMONS IS DIRECTED TO DEFENDANTS ABOVE-NAMED.

1. YOU ARE BEING SUED. The Plaintiffs have started a lawsuit against you. The Plaintiffs’ Complaint against you is on file in the office of the Court Administrator of the above-named Court. Do not throw these papers away. They are official papers that affect your rights. You must respond to this lawsuit even though it may not yet be filed with the Court and there may be no court file number on this Summons.

2. YOU MUST REPLY WITHIN 20 DAYS TO PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS. You must give or mail to the person who signed this summons a written response called an Answer within 20 days of the date on which you received this Summons. 3. YOU MUST RESPOND TO EACH CLAIM. The Answer is your written response to the Plaintiffs’ Complaint. In your Answer you must state whether you agree or disagree with each paragraph of the Complaint. If you believe the Plaintiffs should not be given everything asked for in the Complaint, you must say so in your Answer.

4. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CASE IF YOU DO NOT SEND A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT TO THE PERSON WHO SIGNED THIS SUMMONS. If you do not answer within 20 days, you will lose this case. You will not get to tell your side of the story, and the Court may decide against you and award the Plaintiffs everything asked for in the Complaint. If you do not want to contest the claims stated in the Complaint, you do not need to respond. A default judgment can then be entered against you for the relief requested in the Complaint.

5. LEGAL ASSISTANCE. You may wish to get legal help from a lawyer. If you do not have a lawyer, the Court Administrator may have information about places where you can get legal assistance. Even if you cannot get legal help, you must still provide a written Answer to protect your rights or you may lose the case.

6. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties may agree to or be ordered to participate in an alternative dispute resolution process under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. You must still send your written response to the Complaint even if you expect to use alternative means of resolving this dispute.

7. THIS LAWSUIT MAY AFFECT OR BRING INTO QUESTION TITLE TO REAL PROPERTY located in Wright County, State of Minnesota, legally described as follows:

Lots 22 and 23, Rutledge’s Sugar Lake Park, Wright County, Minnesota.

Notice is further given that the object of said action is to procure a judgment that the portion of Sunset Lane in the Plat of Rutledge’s Sugar Lake Park, Wright County, Minnesota, has been abandoned pursuant to the statutory terms of Minn. Stat. §541.023, and that Plaintiffs are the owners in fee simple absolute of said real estate, and that the Defendants, and each of them, have no right, title, estate, interest, or lien herein or thereon, or in any part thereof.
