Festival of Trees opens on Friday, Dec. 1
The annual Festival of Trees exhibit will be on display at the Wright County Historical Society (WCHS) from Friday, December 1, through Saturday, January 6. WCHS is located at 2001 Highway 25 N, Buffalo.
The Festival of Trees is free to attend. View up to 80 Christmas trees decorated by local businesses, organizations, and groups. There is a scavenger hunt, and visitors can vote for their favorite trees. Decorated trees with the most votes can win first through third place awards. Categories to vote for include “Community Decorated,” “WCHS Decorated,” and other categories.
WCHS staff shares their favorite picks each year. A yearly video is posted on the WCHS website and social media accounts showcasing trees that were on display at the completion of the Festival of Trees.
