Wright County Area Fishing & Hunting Report for 12/19/19

Most lakes now have 4 to 6 inches of ice, but there are pockets of slush to deal with on some. A few walleyes are coming off Clearwater Lake, Lake Sylvia, Buffalo Lake, and Sugar Lake in 14 to 20 feet. Look for sunfish on Clearwater, Sylvia, Lake John, Ramsey Lake, and Maple Lake in 10 to 18 feet, while crappies are being found suspended on Maple, Clearwater, Sulvia, and John over 15 to 30 feet. The 12-foot weedlines on Granite Lake, Wake Francis, John, Clearwater, and Maple are giving up northern pike with tip-ups and sucker minnows. As always - remember to check the ice before going out on it.
