Edward Shult

Edward Herman Shult, beloved father and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2024.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Sarah; grandchildren, Hayley, Kaleb, Ellsy, and Coltyn; significant other, Dorothy Warrick; sister-in-law, Wanda Shult; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet; parents, Herman and Lillian; brother, Merlin; sister, Lorraine Kavanagh; brother-in-law, Ken Kavanagh.

Ed had a passion for life and loved to travel. He loved spending time fishing on Kabetogama with Janet (there was no knick-knack shop unturned searching for holiday decorations with Janet) and Big Stone with Dorothy. He saw all 50 states during his travels, watching baseball, and visiting attractions off the beaten path. From puttering in the woodshop to helping fix anything broken, he was a wealth of knowledge and loved to learn. Most of all, he loved watching his grandchildren play hockey, baseball, and volleyball. He lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 23, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, 1200 Hwy. 25 S, Buffalo.
