LuAnn Bjorge, 67

LuAnn Dolores (Champeau) Bjorge, age 67, of Corcoran, passed away peacefully at home on August 6, 2025, with her family by her side. Holding the hand of her devoted husband, David, as she left this world—just as they had walked through life together for 44 years.

Preceded in death by her parents, F. Edward and Eileen Champeau.

She is survived by her loving husband, David, whose unwavering devotion and care were a true testament to their lifelong bond; her children, Kirstin (Jared) Tessmer, Dana (Andy) Paumen, and Eric; and her beloved grandchildren, Wyatt, Sawyer, and Waylon (Kirstin’s sons), and Britta (Dana’s daughter). She is also survived by her special caregiver, Oretha Tarley; siblings, Bruce (Sandi) Champeau, Steve (Carrie) Champeau, and Renee (Jeff) Mueller; in-laws, Matt (Sandy) Bjorge, Katy (Jake) Mingo, and Paul (Laurie) Ollmann.

As a Christian, LuAnn drew strength from her faith and looked forward with peace and hope to eternal life in heaven. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: soaking up the sunshine, sipping a cold Diet Coke, spending time with her family, and snuggling with her grandchildren.

She was a natural in the kitchen, known for the delicious meals and treats she lovingly prepared. Her warmth, smile, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She faced life’s challenges with remarkable resilience and fought with unwavering strength until the very end.

A Memorial Service for LuAnn Bjorge will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home, 300 North Main Street, in St. Michael, MN. Pastor Paul Schuler will officiate.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home.

A private interment will take place at a later date. LuAnn will be laid to rest at the City of Bloomington Cemetery.
