Obituaries 02/27/25

Dianna Hausladen, 78

Dianna Mary Hausladen, age 78, of New Germany, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on February 3, 1947, in Montrose, the daughter of Jay and Marie (Schmidt) Rasset.

On August 16, 1969, Dianna M. Rasset and James J. Hausladen Sr. (Jim) were united in marriage at the Church of St. Mary of Czestochowa in rural Delano. God blessed their marriage of more than fifty-five years with nine children.

Dianna and Jim spent their lives together on their farm, Hausladen Dairy. She was a devoted, loving, caring, compassionate wife, mother, and grandmother with a deep faith in the Lord. She taught her children and grandchildren the value of prayer, and to seek the Lord for the strength to accept what cannot be changed, the courage to change what can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Dianna also taught her children and grandchildren the value of hard work and being thankful for each day we are given, all the while running a busy household and helping with the chores, including milking cows for 50 years.

She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, sewing, and gardening. Dianna also enjoyed taking care of others. She always invited all who stopped at the farm for a meal or a snack and magically created enough food and cookies for anyone who popped in the door. Her endless supply of cookies and pickles was amazing. Her life was truly an unending dedication to the service of others.

Survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years, James J. Hausladen Sr.; children, James (Mary) Hausladen Jr., Laurie (Dave) Snegosky, Victoria (Kris) Couchey, Andy (Beth) Hausladen, Kristine (Paul) Guenigsman, Holly (Adam) Johnson, Nancy Hausladen and Kathryn (Nick) Templin; 26 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Jan) Rasset, Stephen (Patricia) Rasset, Joe (Kathy) Rasset, Theresa Lukach, Pat (Rita) Rasset, and John (Melanie) Rasset; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Rasset; and many other relatives and friends.

Dianna is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Anita Hausladen; her parents, Jay and Marie Rasset; her brother, Dennis Rasset; and by a brother-in-law, Paul Lukach.

She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, where the Mass of Christian Burial for Dianna Hausladen will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Father Matt Wiering will be the celebrant and Father Alex Rasset will assist. Sandra Lincoln, 69

Sandra “Sandi” M. Lincoln

Sandi went to be reunited with the Lord and loved ones, peacefully surrounded by her children on February 21, 2025, at 6:23 A.M. at the St. Cloud Hospital.

She was born on June 11, 1955, to Chester K. Westman and Hazella (Chamberlin) Westman in Buffalo, MN. She was welcomed home by three older siblings, Chester Jr. (Butch), Claude (Chuck), and her sister, Sharon.

She was a free-spirited child and loved life each day. On October 19, 1974, she was united in marriage to Dennis Wayne Lincoln at her childhood home in rural Buffalo. That union blessed the couple with four children. She was a homemaker for years and loved cooking and baking; her donuts never stood a chance, the kids knew and that was that.

She obtained employment when all the children were school-aged. Beginning with Delano Care Center, she worked there until the family moved to Annandale in 1989. She was employed by John’s Sausage House in Maple Lake and went on to work at Subway in Annandale.

The couple eventually moved to Howard Lake and began their retirement. Upon the passing of her husband in 2018, she chose to relocate herself to Cokato where she was “just down the hill” from her sister. While living there, she made many friends in the building, and also had the chance to meet her dear friend, Arthur (Chief) Rodriquez. The two had many things in common – a spiritual bond as well.

Sandi will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor, as well as her love for family and food! She and her sister loved to eat, often saying, “I don’t eat to live, I live to eat!”

She is survived by her children, daughter, Cindy (boyfriend, Bobby), son, David (girlfriend, Kyla), son, Daniel (wife, Stacy), daughter, Denise Mechels, daughter-in-law, Karen; grandchildren, Amanda (husband, Ken), Austin, Alexandra (boyfriend, Nick), Alec, Damian (girlfriend, Annabelle), Connor (girlfriend, Lauren), Rashad, Xander, Mackenzie, Zachary, Dominic (girlfriend, Keara), and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Alana, Grayson, Kaison, Carter, and Briella; sister, Sharon; brother, Butch; special friend, Art; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; her parents; brother; grandparents; niece; infant nephew; mother-in-law; brother-in-law; and daughter-in-law.

Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with visitation one hour prior at The Peterson Chapel, 119 Central Avenue, Buffalo, MN.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo. Online condolences for the family may be directed to www.thepetersonchapel.com.
