David Boe, 54
David “Dave” Boe, age 54, of Maple Lake, died Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at his home under the care of St. Croix Hospice and his family.
Memorial Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake, with Pastor Michael Grose officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life in honor of Dave will follow from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Madigan’s in Maple Lake.
David Rex Boe, Jr. was born on January 29, 1971, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was adopted by David Rex, Sr. and Mary (Andryski) Boe. He grew up in rural Maple Lake and graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1989.
Dave’s work career began at Warrior Boats following his high school graduation, but he found his true calling as a Heavy Equipment Operator, dedicating 25 years to The Original Driveway Design in Corcoran.
A lover of the outdoors, Dave found joy in fishing and hunting. He had a special affinity for music, both in listening and creating. His passion for cars, dirt bikes, and motorcycles revealed the adventurous spirit that drove him throughout his life. Dave was a sports enthusiast, cheering passionately for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Wild, and he relished the thrill of hockey and swimming during his younger years. Above all, the pride of his life came from his two boys, Michael and Andrew, who meant the world to him.
He is survived by his sons, Michael and Andrew, of Monticello; their mother, Meagan (Marty), of Monticello; his mother, Mary (Pete) Boe-Schwartz, of Maple Lake; brotherly friend, Mark Hulett, of Buffalo; other family members; and an abundance of dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Rex Boe, Sr.

Robert Buckley, 82
Robert James Buckley, age 82, of Elk River, formerly of Buffalo, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026.
He was born on August 6, 1943, in Hennepin County, Minnesota, the son of Paul and Johanna (Behrends) Buckley.
On April 19, 1965, Robert J. Buckley and Marlene K. Bonk were joined in holy marriage at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with a daughter, Tracy.
Bob was formerly employed as a plant foreman for Midstate Manufacturing in Minneapolis.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf, pickleball, playing his ukulele, and along with cheering on the Minnesota Gophers football.
Robert “Bob” Buckley is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Ron) Sadowski; sister, Janice Buckley; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth Bonk, Linda (Alvin)Bodin, Vicky Endreson, Rick (Peggy) Bonk, Mike Bonk, Randy (Lisa) Bonk; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by his wife, Marlene (Bonk); sister, Shirley Nelson Timm; twin brother, Richard; and by his brothers-in-law, Dale, Ronald, and Jim Bonk.
Robert requested a private burial.

Richard Stevens, 90
December 6, 1935 – December 18, 2025
Richard John “Dick” Stevens, age 90, of Buffalo, passed away on December 18, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Montrose, MN, on December 6, 1935, to his parents, Bill and Margaret Stevens and graduated from Buffalo Highschool in 1953. After high school, Dick played baseball for the Montrose team and worked for his family’s well business. At this time, he met his future wife, Mary; they were married in 1956 and blessed with six children.
Dick entered service in 1958 and served with the 4th Armored Division in Germany. Here, he continued his love for baseball, playing on the division championship team between 1959 and 1960. He finished his service with the US Army Reserves by 1962. Upon completion of his military service, Dick returned to the family business.
He had a deep love of history and his community. After moving to Buffalo, Dick was involved in organizing little league football and baseball programs. In his later years, he served on the board of the Wright County Historical Society. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and nature.
Dick was larger than life. Meeting people and forming relationships was his true passion. He remembered nearly everyone he met, reciting their family members, jobs, hobbies, and dreams. Putting smiles on the faces of those he knew, especially children, brought him so much joy.
He joins his parents, Bill Stevens, Margaret Horsch-Stevens; brothers, Robert, Thomas, James; and daughter, Patricia Hankinson, in eternal rest.
Dick is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mary Schoenecker-Stevens; two sons, Mike (Jean) Stevens, Tim (Tamara) Stevens; three daughters, Lisa (Kevin) Bursch, Mary Sue Stevens (Jeff Aldrich), and Jeannie (Dan) Hintz; along with 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A reviewal will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, between 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A Celebration of Life will occur at Buffalo American Legion on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
