Salt Dough

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Cup Salt
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Cup Lukewarm Water
- 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil (optional - makes dough easier to handle)
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice (optional - makes finished product harder)
STEPS:
In large bowl combine salt & flour. Slowly add water & stir until mixture resembles dough. Kneed approx. 5 min. until smooth. Should be the texture of playdough. Add flour if too wet. Add water if too dry.
Let sit 15-30 min. - Create!
Can be rolled out or shaped into figures.
Once finished - leave out to dry 24-48 hours.
Can also be dried in oven at 200°F.
Depending on size, it can take 45 min. to a few hours to dry.
Unused dough can be stored for up to a week in an airtight container.
