BID OPENING: Contractor’s sealed Proposals for the 2017 Addition and Alterations to Buffalo High School will be received by the Independent School District No. 877, Buffalo, Minnesota, until 2:00 pm, Thursday September 29, 2016 at the office of the Superintendent of Schools, in Buffalo, Minnesota, in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by, Architects Rego + Youngquist, Inc., 7601 Wayzata Boulevard, St. Louis Park, Minnesota 55426.

Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the above time and place.  Bids received after 2:00 pm will be returned unopened.

A single bid will be received for all of the work.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Buffalo Minnesota (the “City”), will hold a public hearing at a meeting of the Council beginning at 7:00 p.m., on October 3, 2016 to be held in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, 212 Central Avenue, in Buffalo, Minnesota, on the request of Medcraft Healthcare Real Estate that the City abate a portion of property taxes levied by the City in connection with the proposed construction of an approximately 14,600 square foot medical clinic providing an expansion of medical care services operated by Allina Health to the citizens of Buffalo.  The property is located within the City and is currently identified as Parcel No. 103-198-001020. The following is a summary of the Ordinance. The Ordinance, in its entirety is available for review and/or photocopying during regular office hours at the City of Montrose Offices, 311 Buffalo Avenue South, Montrose MN.

“Ordinance 2016-10 amends Chapter 1002, Section 1002-2, Definitions, of the Zoning Ordinance, to further define automobile sales, farm equipment, farm supplies and recreational vehicles; and amends Chapter 1019, Section 1019-4 A, Design Standards. 12. Surfacing, to allow automotive sales and farm equipment sales, over 4 tons, to be parked on a class 5 gravel or similar surface, if approved by the City Engineer.

Ordinance 2016-10 shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage (September 12, 2016) and this summary publication according to law.”

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly made by Councilmember Gudvangen and seconded by Councilmember Menard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Gudvangen, Otto, Menard, Johnson and Youmans.
